Course Description

Get an introduction to the system administration applications in IBM Maximo 6. Learn to administer and configure other Maximo 6 applications, set values (MAXVARS), specify security settings, and configure the database. Complete hands-on lab exercises to set up, control, and maintain the Maximo 6 environment and modify the environment as changes occur.

This is an intermediate course intended for anyone involved in system administration, including implementation, security, application configuration, and application maintenance. This course does not cover application tailoring or screen customization.

Prerequisites

You should complete:

• Navigation and Querying in IBM Maximo 6
• Work Management in IBM Maximo 6 for Enterprise Asset Management or equivalent experience
• or you should have equivalent working experience with IBM Maximo 5.x or greater
