Maximo Core Consultant for Enterprise Asset Management: Week 2

Course Description

This course teaches Maximo consultants to install, configure, and customize Maximo 6 for EAM. Configuration includes tables, objects, attributes, domains, and relationships. Customization includes the use of an Application Designer, which makes it easy to extend and tailor Maximo 6. After completing this course, you should have a basic understanding of how to extend Maximo 6 (for EAM) to fulfill your implementation requirements.

Prerequisites

Individuals unfamiliar with Maximo should attend course IBM Maximo Core Consultant for Enterprise Asset Management: Week 1

You should have the following skills:

• Fundamental database design and administration, including writing and debugging SQL queries
• Knowledge of basic programming fundamentals
• Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Java, J2EE, Web Services, and Java Server Pages (JSP)
• Certification in IBM MAXIMO 5 and complete course IBM Maximo 6 for Enterprise Asset Management ? New Features
• Experience with complex systems deployment and complete course Immersion Training in IBM Maximo 6 (for EAM)
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and operate IBM Maximo 6, which can be obtained from course Navigation & Querying in IBM Maximo 6 course
