Course Description

The IBM Maximo Core Consultant (for EAM): Week 1 course provides an orientation to IBM Maximo applications, processes, and interrelationships for technical consultants who will be implementing Maximo in an EAM environment.

Who Will Benefit From This Course

This course is intended for personnel who have no prior experience with Maximo and who are technical consultants who will be charged with implementing Maximo for EAM. This course may also be appropriate for other technical personnel who need to manage or support a Maximo implementation or assist a sales process, including:

• Sales and pre-sales
• Project management
• Support

Prerequisites

Participants should have the following prerequisite knowledge and skills:

• Complete familiarity with and comfort working in Microsoft® Windows environment
• Demonstrated experience with the implementation of enterprise-level suites of applications
• Knowledge of maintenance practices in enterprise environments
• Basic SQL knowledge; select statements, where clauses
• Fundamental database design and administration
