Course Description
Developing IBM MAXIMO 5 Reports with Actuate introduces the participants to the standard reports included with MAXIMO 5.2 and the Actuate suite of software tools. The Developing MAXIMO 5 Reports with Actuate course introduces participants to the standard reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) included with MAXIMO 5.2. The participants are introduced to the Actuate suite of software tools. Participants will learn how to use reports in MAXIMO 5.2.

- Set up an Oracle connection in a report
- Add a data field to a report
- Create labels for the data field
- Create a computed field
- Compile a report
- Publish a component to a library
- Use a component from the library
- Modify a component in a library
- Create a graph
- Create a group
- Create an equi-join
- Create a hyper link to another report
- Create a Subreport
- Create a request page report
- Create a parameter for the Request Page
- Register the report
- Change privileges for an Actuate user and/or a report
- Configure your own new MAXIMO Dashboard
- Configure your portlets on your MAXIMO Dashboard
- Create a KPI using the new MAXIMO KPI
Participants will learn how to use a MAXIMO report template, how to modify a MAXIMO report template to create a new report, how to create a request page, and how to change priviledges for reports. Participants will use Actuate to register their reports to run from MAXIMO 5.2. Participants will also use the new MAXIMO Dashboard and the new MAXIMO KPI Manager.
