Basic Java for IBM Maximo 6 Programmers is a hands-on course that gives programmers a basic knowledge of Java.

The prerequisite for this course is programming experience in other languages such as C, Visual Basic, PL/SQL, etc.
Skills Taught
The goal of this course is to provide hands-on knowledge of how to develop Java applications. This course is focused on developing server-side Java applications and does not cover any GUI .class files. When you have completed this course you should be able to use Java to develop basic Java applications that would run without a GUI interface and to use the Eclipse Java development environment.
