Major Biotech Partner Upgrades from Maximo v5.2 to Maximo v7

edi is announcing that our client, a major biotechnical partner in Southern California, just went live with Maximo v7. This major biotechnical partner wanted to improve current business processes related to Asset Management, while simplifying their existing EAM system and maintaining compliance with federal regulations. With a great commitment to process improvement, evidenced by the time taken to participate in detailed process flow and requirements gathering discussions, they were able to create a very thorough requirement specification to gain full benefit of the upgrade.

Drivers for this project included the desire to stay on a supported version of Maximo, the necessity to eliminate complex customizations in the current system, and the leverage new features available in Maximo 7. This Biotech Partner?s business is also driven to maintain compliance with CFR 21, Part 11 and designed their system to maintain GMP equipment with pre and post approvals of maintenance activities and the use of electronic signature functionality and documentation of task executions to ensure validation across the organization.
