IBM and EDI worked closely with Life Sciences customer, Cephalon, Inc. to utilize Maximo software to streamline and standardize their pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.  These improved processes are driving consistency and reducing costs across multiple locations by consolidating several legacy CMMS and calibration systems and centralizing all asset data.  The Maximo solution also vastly improves the Research & Development, Manufacturing and Packaging operations to provide Cephalon with efficient FDA reporting and compliance as they continue their international expansion with their diverse product portfolio.
